Richard , I don't know how you can have the patience to deal with any of this in the detail that you have. Jacobovici and Wilson have their tongue in their cheek, if they believe that anyone could accept what they say. They are even worse with their arbitrariness than Barbara Thiering with her pesher interpretation.

Geoff, it's a good question whether the authors are actually serious about what they write. I'm going to say a word about that in my conclusion, which is not far off now! I probably wouldn't have had the patience for all this if I hadn't become rather interested in Joseph and Aseneth.
